Ruby Lodge
The curriculum offer for students on Ruby Lodge combines subject sessions which are aligned to the National Curriculum or the Engagement Model dependent on the specific needs of the pupil. Alongside the subject sessions there are therapeutic sessions such as Occupational Therapy, Art Therapy or Speech and Language Therapy for example. Many of the lessons are taught on a 1-1 basis but, dependent on the specific needs of the cohort, we aim to support pupils to work in a group whenever possible.
Each pupil on Ruby Lodge follows a bespoke plan where learning outcomes are directly linked to outcomes on the pupil's EHCP and the activities and approaches are tailored for each individual.
